B purchased the first season of Dr. Who yesterday, and we've watched the first two episodes. Conclusions thus far: it's campy, but not in a way that annoys me. I'm totally entertained enough to keep watching, although if I don't see some character development soon I could see myself getting bored. I love that the main chick character has a normal body type (thus far at least) and is a total sexpot. Dr. Who himself is charming in that Brit way, and definitely a fun character to watch. Don't know if they keep this throughout, but they kept some of the retro sound effects in the fist ep, which I found entertaining.

Score: 7 out of a possible 10, with final judgement being reserved for further viewing.
