So, because apparently I am a woman of leisure who has oodles of free time in the middle of the day, I met a pregnant girlfriend on 4th Ave today to search out baby clothes for her and for my fantabulous, adorable and rocket-scientest-level brilliant new niece.

This is my first time checking out those 4th Ave stores, and can I just say that they are RIDICULOUS? I don't think baby shoes that aren't even going to be walked in need to cost $55! (Although they were so-damn-cute and I kinda wanted them for Ms. Cassidy.) And the $1000 strollers? Jesus! (But I totally saw an old fashioned pram that I fell in love with. Only $3600.)

And I saw the best Cassidy outfit ever... but it's $110. Does that seem reasonable if it's four separate pieces?

I suspect not.
