Soul still intact. Booty, too.

Appropriately enough after my rant about Madonna's trainer a few days ago, I came across her starvation diet online a few minutes ago.

You are TOTALLY guaranteed to lose weight if you follow this diet. I can promise you that with no qualms whatsoever.

However, no one will want to be around you because you will be a raging, homicidal psychopath. Also you won't be able to function because your brain will stop working properly after approximately hour three. And you won't want to move, because you'll have no energy... which is probably a good thing, since you won't be able to follow through on the aforementioned homicidal tendencies.

But you WILL be thin and beautiful, so personality, brains and ability to function aren't really so important.

Goodness gracious, I pretty much ate that diet, I guess that's how I lost so much weight in 6 months LOL. But yeah it'll make you crazy. Certifiably. Well once the sugar is out of your system you'll be okay. But one taste of sugar & YOU ARE DEAD.

if you're totally hot, you don't have to be smart or nice to people, so that's fine!

Personality is so overrated, y'know?

Ok, that diet is just freaking insane. I'd go nuts and end up having a whole large pizza to myself by the end of the day.

BUT what do you think of the workout that she has listed? Again, a little overboard on the 6 days a week..but the actual workout itself, would you say it's a good or bad thing?

Oh, and a booty is a good thing to have too:)

I might be missing the specifics of the workout (point them out to me if I am) but all I see is "two hours a day six days a week." I think that's a lot, but not necessarily out of line for someone who's in really good shape, training for something like a marathon, or just plain likes whatever activity they're doing and their body can handle it.

For instance, if someone's doing 45 minutes of cardio a day, plus a fairly complex weight training program, that could certainly equal two hours of time, but it wouldn't necessarily be overtraining. Or if someone's training for a marathon, or just likes going out onto a field and kicking a soccer ball around, same deal.

If it feels good and it's enjoyable, I don't have an issue with that, although I think most people who are holding down a regular job would have a hard time finding the time for that much activity and still have a life. I think it would be a disaster for someone who hadn't built up to that level of activity, and they'd probably end up broken and bleeding by the side of the road somewhere.

800 calories? Bah. I can do 200/day AND exercise for nine hours straight, easily.

That trainer is clearly a wimp!

800 calories is precisely how much I allowed myself when I was anorexic. And I sure was skinny! Nevermind the weird hair that grew on my shoulders and the fact that I smelled really weird, stopped getting my period, and passed out all the time.

Blech!

I really question the credibility of this article. I don't believe most news things that I read. Especially when it is about celebrities. The media is retarded.

That is a totally fair point. US Weekly might be completely full of shit, and the trainer doesn't recommend anything like this!

For Madonna's sake, I really hope so.
